The Basics of Juggling Balls:

,

In order to juggle balls effectively, you need to learn how to perform three basic moves: the toss, the catch, and the pirouette. The toss is when you throw one ball into the air, the catch is when you catch it, and the pirouette is when you throw the third

ball really high spin around, and catch it into your pattern. Here are some tips for practicing these moves:

- Toss: To perfect your tossing technique, start by standing in an open space with plenty of room to move around. Throw one ball up into

the air and try to catch it again before it hits the ground. Once you have mastered this move, start adding more balls into the mix. Always toss them up NEVER to the side, might seem easier while doing 2, but you want to toss them UP or it will get harder with 3. Because when the 2 balls are going up, it is the same pattern when you add the third It turns from a 4-beat, pattern (toss, toss, catch, catch) with a beginning and end, into a continuous pattern (doesn't stop), but speed and trajectory remain exactly the same as when you were doing 2. Is just two in the hand and one in the air, that's what jugglers know that non-Jugglers don't

- Catch: The key thing to remember when catching balls is to keep your hands soft and open and wait until they are close enough to touch before reaching out for them. Try not to drop any of the balls while catching them.

- Pirouette: This move can be tricky at first but with a little bit of practice, you will get the hang of it. Start by throwing one ball into the air and spinning yourself around once or twice before catching it again. When you feel comfortable doing this, add more balls into play.
